Tuesday we applied surface design to our plates and bowls as well as paint underglaze before applying a clear overglaze. All the works were successfully put into the kiln later that evening. We had great weather and got to have an afternoon swim. We ate lunch at the park and learned about a friendly flying bee commonly called the "good news bee". I taught the campers how to attract by twirling your finger in a circle which lures the good news bee to land on your finger tip. Brayden was even able to have two land simultaneously on his finger and thumb (see picture below).
