Day One- off to a great start!! We worked with clay and learned about it's various properties, and what happens when clay turns to ceramic in the kiln. It was one of our campers (LUCY!!) birthday so we celebrated with cupcakes. We all got to work on the wheel and create some functional wares that we will be using later this week at our hands on cooking demonstration. We took a bunch of under water selfies during our brief swim before the storm.
